AI on this site
Last updated: 2026-08-02
1. Where artificial intelligence is used on this site
This site uses artificial intelligence. The list below states exactly where.
- Voice assistant - answers immigration questions by voice and takes your request. The conversation is recorded and processed, and the microphone is enabled only after you consent.
- Text chat assistant - answers questions in the chat and takes your request.
- Document recognition in the client account - automatically reads data from uploaded documents (for example, a passport) so it does not have to be typed in by hand.
- Illustrations on the service and blog pages - created with AI and carry a visible "AI-generated" label.
- Draft replies to enquiries - AI prepares a draft that a member of staff reviews and edits before it is sent.
2. The assistant identifies itself as AI
Both the voice and the text assistant state that they are AI at the very start of the conversation, before any substantive answer. A permanent notice next to the conversation window reads "You are chatting with an AI assistant, not a human".
If you ask the assistant directly whether it is a human or a program, it will answer honestly. The assistant never presents itself as a human.
3. What the assistant can and cannot do
The assistant provides general information and helps you book a consultation. It is not legal advice and it does not make decisions about your case. Decisions are made by a human: Maja Erčulj and her team.
The assistant can be wrong. Always confirm exact amounts, deadlines and requirements during the consultation.
4. AI-generated content
Images on the service and blog pages are generated by artificial intelligence and carry a visible "AI-generated" label. They are illustrations, not documentary photographs: the people shown are fictional, and the Slovenian scenery is an artistic reconstruction of real places.
The legal reference texts are compiled from primary sources (PISRS, Uradni list, gov.si, EUR-Lex) and are reviewed by a human before publication; the site editorial team is responsible for their content.
5. Data processing
Conversations with the assistant and uploaded documents are processed in order to answer your question and to handle your case. Part of this processing takes place on Google (Gemini) servers outside the EU, under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
The lawful bases, retention periods and your rights are described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Who is responsible and where to turn
The site and the AI assistants are operated by Enica int., poslovne rešitve d.o.o. Development and technical maintenance of the AI systems: Mykhailo Koblychenko s.p., Dimičeva ulica 9, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia, davčna SI40790215.
